Despite the pause button being hit on international rugby this weekend, there were plenty og big name Lions contenders in action for their clubs.
Here are the five players we think may have impressed Warren Gatland with their individual performances:
1. Taulupe Faletau (Wales)
The returning Welsh international showed why he is still one of the leading back-row players in the world, not missing a tackle as well as shining in attack as Bath edged past Gloucester. As well as his defensive display, Faletau also shone in attack making 31 metres from his nine carries including finishing his side’s only try well, and coming close to adding a second after the break.
