Nicky Smith’s peculiar gesture after scoring against Uruguat caught the eye of a number of Welsh supporters as he appeared to do something rather strange with his fingers.
Smith was actually making a ‘W’ and ‘M’ gesture, which stands for “Waunarlwydd Massive”.

Waunarlwydd is the Swansea village Smith is from, and the gesture has also been used by fellow Wales star and Waunarlwydd product Liam Williams in the Fiji match.
