“Lots of work to do” – 5 players who underperformed in the second week of the Autumn Nations Series

#2. James Ryan (Ireland)

RUCK 6/10: Despite the Irish being convincing 60-5 winners against Japan, the second-row was probably his sides underperformer as he made very few carries and cost his side two turnovers. Iain Henderson made more impact on the game as a replacement, which shows just how much quieter Ryan was than usual

IRISH 6/10: “Ryan was pretty quiet today in what was a rampant Irish performance, as he never quite got to grips with the game. Still, he has plenty of credit in the bank and will likely start against New Zealand next weekend.”
