Maggie Alphonsi has not wasted any time clapping back at ‘sexist’ trolls on social media.
The 37-year-old pundit, along with commentator Danielle Waterman, were targeted with a number of vile comments during their coverage of the opening Six Nations clash between France and Italy.
“A good afternoon in the studio for ITAvFRA,” wrote the 74-cap England international.
“As expected tho, many sexist comments about women working on men’s rugby.
“Those who comment are not worthy a response. Rugby is not a gender, it’s a sport and my accolades far out way what any of those sexist individuals have achieved!!”
Well said, Maggie Alphonsi!
