Popular referee Nigel Owens is demanding football brings in a 15-minute sin-bin and citing process.
This follows Real Madrid’s 3-1 Champions League win over Liverpool in Kiev on Saturday night.
The world’s leading rugby referee was particularly irked by the antics of Sergio Ramos and one incident when the Real Madrid skipper went down clutching his face after minimal contact with Liverpool’s Sadio Mane.
Bring in at least a 15mins sinbin and a citing process for this kind of play acting. Deal with action of red player if its an offenece but also deal with the play acting too. It will soon stamp it out. No sport needs this kind of behaviour. https://t.co/YiPLtu4T3k
