In a fantastic exclusive interview with Wales Online, superstar referee Nigel Owens has revealed who is the best player he has refereed.
It was a question that he pondered over for a good 10 seconds before saying: “It’s difficult because Dan Carter was the best fly-half and Richie McCaw the best openside.
“But, overall, I’d say Shane Williams, because he was so small and because of what he did in games — beating players, scoring tries.
