One player each Aviva Premiership team should sign…

Gloucester: Gio Aplon
Having just lost Jonny May, the Cherry and Whites will be in desperate need of finding a magic player who can give them the spark that the England international provided on many occasions.

Aplon could be that game changer, an incredible strike runner that has proven he doesn’t always need front foot ball to create magic.

He’d fill the void that May will leave and would definitely work wonders with players like Jason Woodward and Charlie Sharples around him.

Newcastle Falcons: Harry Thacker
Newcastle looks in good shape for the 2017/18 season, having brought in a host of new players, which includes: Maxime Mermoz, Josh Matavesi, Toby Flood and others.

The one place The Falcons could do with some work is at hooker with no real player standing out and with Scott Lawson getting ever older Thacker would be a stand out signing.

The “dumper truck” is a great ball carrier and needs more game time, currently being stuck behind Tom Youngs and George Mcguigan at Tigers.

Therefore, establishing himself as a Starter at the Falcons and establishing himself in an ever growing team could be a great move for his future.
