Pau’s second rower Damien Fevre dies at only 31

Second rower of Pau rugby club, Damien Fevre, died this Friday in the afternoon, carried away by a terrible cancer. He was just 31 years old and was married with a daughter, Charlyse.

“The club has the immense sadness to announce the death of his second line Damien Fevre, which occurred today,” writes Bearn club in a statement.

The injustice of his death overwhelms us and leaves us all in deep pain. The club extends it’s deepest condolences to his wife Olivia and his daughter Charlyse. ”

Fevre played for Agen, Bourgoin and Oyonnax before moving to Pau in 2012.
His last and only match in this season of Top 14 is dated back to September 5, 2015 in Grenoble.
