Former rugby star Gerwyn Price is celebrating another landmark in his new career as a professional darts player despite an 8-0 US Masters semi-final defeat against powerhouse Michael van Gerwen.
The former Glasgow Warriors man earned $6,250 for making it to the last four at The Tropicana, in Las Vegas, before winning over $10,000 in the casino.

His latest performance is another sign of Price’s quick rise in darts.
“Gerwyn is enjoying a brilliant year and is really establishing himself on the world stage,” said PDC Chairman Barry Hearn.
