2. 2007-2008
Not quite our favourite – but not far off. Leicester made it to the Premiership final yet again, but much as they had done when they won three straight titles between 2003 and 2005, Wasps produced the goods on the big occasion to send Lawrence Dallaglio into retirement with a 26-16 victory.
1. 2005-2007
Simply iconic. It’s hard to imagine it will ever get better for Wasps than the day they beat domestic rivals Leicester Tigers 25-9 in the Heineken Cup to become European champions for the second time.
The Canterbury shirt was also looking good. The badge was traditional and perfect, the collar looked timeless and the graphics were modern without being overstated. Some fans might want more yellow, but we think it was perfect!
