Red card for ‘brutal stamp to the face’ during Oxford/Cambridge clash

Oxford made it two wins in a row by defeating a 14-man Cambridge side in the 140th Varsity Match at Twickenham earlier today

The 2022 Varsity Game was marred by a stamp to the face by Cambridge lock Charlie Friend, who was sent off.

The Women’s Varsity game followed the mens and it ended in the first ever stalemate between the two teams with a 10-10 draw.
