Fullback Israel Folau and his new wife, New Zealand netballer Maria Tutaia, have shared pictures from their wedding day.
The full-back who was a vocal opponent of same-sex marriage, ironically wed Tutaia on the same day Australia voted to legalise gay marriage last Wednesday.

According to the Stuff website, the ceremony took place before a select number of guests on a private property in Kangaroo Valley, around two hours south of Sydney.
Folau is sitting out the Wallabies’ current end-of-year northern hemisphere tour.
