According to the Australian press England powerhouse Ben Te’o could be on his way to the Queensland Reds to fill the boots of Samu Kerevi.
The 32-year-old, who has been at Worcester Warriors for three seasons, has won 16 caps since making his England debut against Australia during their summer tour in 2016.
Te’o was also a key member of Warren Gatland’s British & Irish Lions squad that secured a historic series draw against the All Blacks in 2017.
He’s now concentrated on making Eddie Jones’ 31-man World Cup squad for the Rugby World Cup, which kicks off in September.
However, it is his plans post-World Cup which have spiked interest from the Reds and coach Brad Thorn, who shares pedigree with Te’o as a former Brisbane Broncos rugby league forward.
It’s reported that a lucrative two-year deal, worth around £400,000 will be on the table for the rugby league convert.
