Northampton Saints are reportedly ready to make an audacious bid to sign England international Ben Youngs from rivals Leicester Tigers, according to Ben Youngs.
The scrum-half, who has spent his entire career at Welford Road, is said to be out of contact at the end of the 2019/20 season with an offer of £400,000 per season from French club Toulouse already on the table.

However, the 30-year-old, who currently has 95 caps, wants to make 100 appearances for his country, which could give Saints the advantage if Tigers can’t tie down Youngs.
Saints will be free to speak to the scrum-half in the new year, putting pressure on struggling Leicester to persuade the British & Irish Lions star to stay.
