Bristol have been linked with a shock move for Uruguay number eight Manuel Diana Olaso.
The 25-cap international played in three of Los Teros’ 2019 Rugby World Cup games in Japan in the Autumn, facing Wales and Australia before playing a key role in securing a famous 30-27 victory over a Fiji.
In the win over Pacific Islanders, Olaso packed down at number eight opposite 2018 European Player of the Year Leone Nakarawa, scoring one of Uruguay’s tries in the biggest win in their history.
The 24-year-old currently plays for Canadian Major League Rugby (MLR) side the Toronto Arrows but is expected to move on next season.
