Gloucester will complete Australian flanker Jordy Reid from Ealing Trailfinders, according Gloucestershire Live.
The 28-year-old’s departure would ease the effect of Jaco Kriel’s departure back to South Africa.
Reid, who was a fan favourite during his stint with the Melbourne Rebels played against the British and Irish Lions in 2013 proving his ability to play at the highest level.
A powerful ball carrier and a big tackler, his best season with the Rebels came in 2016 when he played in 15 of their Super Rugby matches.
The openside-flanker has since been a standout player in the Championship in the last two seasons after joining Ealing.
