Wallabies star Kurtley Beale is close to making a return to Europe ahead of the 2020/21 season.
According to the Daily Telegraph the 31-year-old star, who captained the Waratahs for the first time in his career on Friday, is set to depart for Top 14 club Racing 92.
Some potential bad news for Dave Rennie. Kurtley Beale, Matt Philip & Luke Jones all linked with moves to France. Beale is said to be close to joining Racing 92! Philip & Jones rumoured to be off to be Pau. Big blow if this all happens.

A one-time World Player of the Year nominee, Beale was promoted to captain when Rob Simmons was formally ruled out after hurting his ankle in last week’s 29-17 win over the Lions.
The 92-test veteran may not be the only Australian-based Wallaby with his sights set on France, as Melbourne Rebels duo Matt Philip and Luke Jones are expected to sign with Top 14 club Pau.
