#IAMENOUGH campaign has started to remove stereotypes and stigmas around female rugby players. To empower women and show that no matter what you look like, you should be proud of who you are because YOU ARE ENOUGH. . Recently it’s been in the media that when Ireland launched their new kit they used the international mens players to model the men’s shirts and for the women, they hired in female models to be photographed in the shirt rather than using the Irish women’s teams players. . This obviously a kick in the teeth for women’s rugby and further reinforces stereotypes within the sport. Young girls should have the opportunity to look up to their role models. The women’s players who dedicate so much time and hard work to be good enough to wear the shirt on the pitch, should also be enough for them to wear it in front of a camera. I fully back this campaign and support all women who smash gender stereotypes in any sport. . Can all women, no matter what sport you play post a picture of yourself playing your sport, next to a picture of your non-sporty self. Using #wedontneedmodels #breakthestereotype #IAmEnough
