Saracens announce increased commitment for Women’s team

Following a memorable season for both the men’s and women’s sides, Saracens have today announced an increased commitment in the women’s team ahead of the 2018/19 season.

Saracens Women enjoyed a phenomenally successful season in the Tyrrells Premier 15s, finishing top of the regular season standings before defeating Harlequins in the final to claim the inaugural title. They will now become more closely aligned with Saracens ahead of the new campaign.



The developments will see the introduction of a number of changes, designed to provide a greater platform for the continued success and development of Saracens Women players, in turn ensuring the on-going growth of the club in the future.

 

These changes will include the integration of the women’s coaching team in to the wider Saracens set up, as well as the launch of a development pathway aimed at encouraging Saracens Women players to fill off the pitch roles within the club.

Saracens is proud of the immense depth of talent in the women’s squad. The increase in commitment to the women’s team will provide a greater platform for the continued success and development of these players, ensuring the growth of the club in the future.
