Adam Hastings, the son of Scotland legend Gavin Hastings, has been called into the Scotland squad for this weekend’s final Natwest Six Nations match against Italy in Rome.
He completes a quartet of Glasgow Warriors players to have been called on by Gregor Townsend while veteran centre Matt Scott has also joined the squad.
Hastings is the only one of the five who has never been officially call up to a Scotland squad.
Warriors coach Dave Rennie believes that the way the young No.10 has what it takes to become a superstar.
“I’ve been really impressed by Adam,” said Rennie.
