Sir Clive Woodward reveals the 4 players who ‘must’ make their England debut this summer

Fans will be able to watch England at Twickenham for the first time since December when Eddie Jones’ side play the United States and Canada in July.

It is expected at least 10,000 fans will be able to watch each game.

England play the US on Sunday, 4 July, then face Canada on Saturday, 10 July.

With a number of major England stars away in South Africa with the Lions, Sir Clive Woodward wants to see these four rising stars make their England debuts this summer.

#4. Marcus Smith

  • Age: 21
  • Position: Fly-half

Despite his stellar form for Harlequins, he’s since been in the international wilderness with no sign of a recall from Eddie Jones. However, following Owen Farrell’s recent performance against Scotland, it’s clear as day that England need a more creative number 10 to orchestrate the attack.

WOODWARD SAID: “Smith has the ability to terrify defences and is currently the best goal-kicker in world rugby.”
