10 – Owen Farrell (England) – Kicked like a dream, tormenting France’s back three, but lucky his try stood.
9 – Ben Youngs (England) – Started campaign under pressure. Not any more. Controlled tempo beautifully with Farrell.
1 – Nicky Smith (Wales): First match following a long absence recovering from an ankle injury and was a thorn in the side of the Italian with his work at the breakdown before being substituted.
2 – Rory Best (Ireland): A fantastic run from the Ulster winger to score his first half try and some powerful running and tackling in loose play.
3 – Samson Lee (Wales): The tighthead prop scrummaged powerfully with it being a dominant area for Wales in the first half and was also a presence in the loose.
