Cadan Murley – Harlequins
Despite ending up on the losing side of the score-line, Cadan Murley shone in Harlequins’ narrow defeat to Gloucester. Electric as ever along the wing, Murley would have been playing with an added spark after his release from Steve Borthwick’s England squad two weeks ago. Murley impressed with a try, and spells of attacking creativity, with ambitions of re-claiming a spot in the England squad.
Scoring from close range, Murley read the distributing pass of Nick David, who managed to get the pass away before being doubled tackled by Cherry and White defenders. Murley then had open space to run in to the corner and score. The second half try brought Harlequins back level after 50 minutes, to a 14-14 equaliser.
