It was a busy weekend of Championship action as Scotland beat England, Ireland defeated Wales and France got their first win against Italy in Marseille.
There was plenty of reaction on social media throughout the third round of the Championship and here’s a few that caught our eye.

2008 – @Scotlandteam have claimed the Calcutta Cup for the first time since 2008, while their 12-point victory was their biggest against England since 1986. Party. pic.twitter.com/pIUneGIMTf

Wonderful performance by @Scotlandteam today. Outplayed @EnglandRugby in all departments today especially the breakdown. Murrayfield is a hard place to play. Congratulations Scotland 👏🏼

Embarrassed by some of the comments made towards @Nigelrefowens – Watched game for second time – particular focus on key decisions… @EnglandRugby can have no complaints about @Scotlandteam win. Many things to blame – None of them Nigel.

Wow – totally deserved win for @Scotlandteam – brilliant for Townsend – Will be a long night for Eddie and his players , welcome to the club but history will show this could be the making of this team – but hats off to Scotland – brilliant performance and deserved win

74 – George North is picking up his 74th Test cap (inc. Lions), but this is just his 3rd appearance from the bench. Unfamiliar.
