“Son of England legend” – Bath back-rower joins up with Steve Borthwick’s World Cup squad

In preparation for the upcoming match against Japan, head coach Steve Borthwick has made two additions to his squad this week to ensure a balanced training setup.

This Autumn, Ruck’s England content will be powered by Charles Tyrwhitt, as they introduce an exclusive assortment of England Rugby apparel and accessories within the Tyrwhitt Supporter Collection. Not only do they back the team, but they also elevate your wardrobe.

Joining the team are Ben Stevenson, a 25-year-old versatile player from Newcastle who excels as a wing and center, and Arthur Green, a 19-year-old No. 8 from Bath.

Arthur Green’s lineage is noteworthy, as his father, Will, is a former England prop who earned four caps during his illustrious career with Wasps.

During the 2021/22 season, Arthur himself achieved the honor of representing England Under-18s. He made a remarkable try-scoring debut against Wales before showcasing his talents on the international stage during the U18 Six Nations Festival in France.

Arthur Green’s impact extends beyond the national team, as he played a pivotal role in guiding Sherborne School to the semi-finals of the 2021/22 Schools Cup.

His ability to drive the team forward and his exceptional footwork consistently shine in his game. Notably, Green possesses influential leadership qualities, characterized by his strong communication skills and a leading-by-example approach.
