Joining the two-time British & Irish Lion in the squad are three of his club colleagues – back-row Adam Ashe, uncapped lock Scott Cummings and centre Nick Grigg – while there are recalls for Josh Strauss and Duncan Weir following their good club form with Sale Sharks and Worcester Warriors, respectively.
Strauss last played for Scotland in the defeat to this weekend’s opponents, Fiji, in Suva in June 2017, while the last of Weir’s 27 Test caps was against Italy in the 2017 Six Nations.
