The Telegraph has reported that work is already going on behind the scenes to transform the New Zealand vs Barbarians clash at Twickenham this Autumn into a ‘fourth Test’.
This move comes after the tied conclusion of the British & Irish Lions tour to Zealand.
The Barbarians and New Zealand meet at Twickenham on November 4th as part of the invitational side’s 125th anniversary.

And a Baa-baas spokesperson revealed to Telegraph Sport that: “An agreement is in place with Premiership Rugby Limited (PRL) for players to be released to play in the November fixture against New Zealand.
They also reported that the “RFU are supportive of the idea of England’s Lions contingent being part of the Barbarians side,”
Discussions with the IRFU, SRU and WRU, however, are yet to begin.
