The best and worst signings of the 2021/22 Premiership season

#1. Jack Walker (Harlequins)

  • Age: 26
  • Position: Hooker

The hooker, who joined from Bath last summer, has proved to be the signing of the season. An inspired campaign saw Walker win 264 line-outs and make 241 tackles (fifth highest in the whole division).

DID YOU KNOW? Walker has played for the England age groups and was part of the teams which won the 2014 and 2016 Junior World Championships

#3. Christian Scotland-Williamson (Harlequins)

  • Age: 28
  • Position: Lock

Quins took a major punt on the former NFL player but the move ultimately didn’t work out with the 28-year-old making a handful of unimpressive appearances before being released at the end of the season.

DID YOU KNOW? In 2017, he made a tackle and a video of this tackle went viral. The popularity of the video ultimately caused him to leave rugby to pursue a career in American football
