An interaction between Ireland Captain Johnny Sexton and Princess Anne has recently gone viral, as the Royal Family member seemed concerned about Sexton’s teammate Garry Ringrose.

The centre was stretchered off after his head collided with Blair Kinghorn’s hip, 72 minutes into the clash at Murrayfield.
Princess Anne presented Sexton with the Century Quiach, which is an ancient Gaelic cup.
The trophy is awarded to the winners of Ireland and Scotland’s rugby matches, with Ireland retaining for the sixth consecutive fixture. Yet as Princess Anne awarded the trophy, she had a concerned expression on her face when asking “Is Garry Alright?”
It is unclear as to what Sexton said in response, yet the 37-year-old seemed to have put the Princess Royal at ease. Princess Anne’s expression quickly relaxed, with the Leinster Captain going on to raise the Century Quiach.
Ireland are on track to add to this silverware collection, as they remain on course to win their first Six Nations title and Grand Slam since 2018. Only England stand in their way from also completing the Triple Crown, with Andy Farrell’s men ready to build on the hard-fought victory against Scotland.
