Back from injury, and you sense that if he’s fit then Gatland will turn to an old favourite at centre once more. His fitness was the main issue, but combine Davies’ experience and with his playmaking ability and it’s hard to not see him involved. However, the emergence of George North in the midfield and the stellar form of Ireland’s Robbie Henshaw means he’d not guaranteed a starting spot.
