The nephew of England international Manu Tuilagi, Posolo weighs in at a staggering 23.6 stone. The Samoan born star is a towering presence at 6ft 4″, and has been making waves in the Top 14 this season.

Yet it was this past weekend which saw a breakout match for Posolo Tuilagi. In the Top 14 and D2 promotion-relegation play off match, Posolo imposed his presence upon Grenoble. Starring for Perpignan, Tuilagi scored from a well-worked line-out move, as he powered through a group of Grenoble defenders.

Tuilagi scored the opening try of the match after just five minutes. His powerful defence and set-piece dominance also helped Perpignan along to a 33-19 victory. Perpignan secured their place in the French Top 14 for another season, following this ‘do-or-die’ fixture.

Tuilagi is eligible to play for Samoa and follow in his fathers footsteps, however if he continues to make his name known amongst the Top 14, Fabien Galthie may well eye up the monster lock for a France debut.

It is currently unknown if Tuilagi is eligible for France through residency, yet he would certainly be a welcomed asset to Les Bleus. Remember the name Posolo Tuilagi, as he could very well me causing chaos on the international stage before too long.
