The Premier League’s Six Nations XV – a rugby team made up of top-flight footballers

4. Lock – Dan Burn (Newcastle): At 6ft 7in, Burn is one of the tallest players in the Premier League, so is being selected as our primary jumper in the line-out. Like a skinnier, Geordie version of George Kruis

Rugby player he kind of reminds me of: Devin Toner (Ireland).

5. Lock – Tyrone Mings (Aston Villa): Tall, physical and great in the air – the centre-back is a the perfect second row. He’s also in a football sense, often plays like a rugby player too.

Rugby player he kind of reminds me of: Maro Itoje (England)

6. Flanker – N’Golo Kante (Chelsea): The No.6 position on the rugby pitch, otherwise known as the blindside flanker, does a lot of the grunt work for the team. He will often top the tackle count for a game, sometimes going completely unnoticed in games – but you certainly notice when he isn’t on the pitch. Kante fits this role well.

Rugby player he kind of reminds me of: Hamish Watson (Scotland)

7. Flanker – Harry Maguire (Manchester United_ – The number 7 is often one of the fittest players on a rugby pitch, but generally boasts every physical and mental attribute you could possibly need. And all in one express package. Maguire’s size and power is obvious, but he’d need to put that into effect in order to excel.

Rugby player he kind of reminds me of: Justin Tipuric (Wales)

8. Number eight – Virgil Van Dijk (Liverpool):Our number eight must possess both brains and brawn. They need to be strong enough to make a big impact in defence and skilful enough to receive the ball anywhere on the pitch. He has the calm head and leadership qualities which are essential

Rugby player he kind of reminds me of: Sergio Parisse (Italy)
