Toulon have announced the signing of number eight Facundo Isa
The Argentina international will join the club on a two-year contract
Isa has shone at Super Rugby level and in the Test arena in 2016
RC Toulon are aggressively recruiting some big names in world rugby as they bid to return to the top of the European ranks following a poor season this term.
The French rugby giants have now announced the signing of Jaguares and Argentina number eight Facundo Isa on a two-year contract.
Isa, who shone at Super Rugby level and in the Test arena in 2016, will join the Top 14 heavyweights at the end of the Jaguares’ 2017 Super Rugby campaign.
The 23-year-old is no stranger to Toulon as he played one match for them during the 2013/14 season before returning to Argentina.
Isa, who has played in 25 Tests for los Pumas, is Toulon’s sixth new signing for the 2017/18 season and joins fellow back row Raphael Lakafia, wings Chris Ashton and Filipo Nakosi, centre Semi Radradra and full-back Hugo Bonneval.
