TRANSFER | Harlequins have found their Kyle Sinckler replacement

Harlequins are posed to sign formidable tighthead Craig Trenier from Ealing Trailfinders as a replacement for departing Kyle Sinckler.

The England international will leave Twickenham Stoop this summer, making the move to Ashton Gate to join Bristol Bears.

According to the The Rugby Paper, Trenier will join Quins along with loosehead Jordan Els and hooker Matt Cornish after catching the eye consistently in the Championship.

The 26-year-old began his career across the Irish Sea with Ulster where he won age grade honours with Ireland before heading to Richmond.

They signed the England international prop from Northampton in 2013 with then boss Conor O’Shea saying: “Not only is Paul talented, at his age he will only get better.” However, after two disappointing seasons at the Stoop, making just 19 appearances, he left to rejoin Gloucester.
