TRANSFER | Harry Potter signs with Premiership club

Leicester TIgers are poised to sign wing sensation Harry Potter on an academy contract from the Melbourne Rebels, according to The Rugby Paper.

The magical 22-year-old, who broke into the Rebels senior squad this season in Australia, is eligible to represent both the Wallabies and England at senior international level.

Potter, who was born in Wimbledon, told The Daily Telegraph in June that he was now used to JK Rowling, Hogwarts inspired chat from the sidelines.

“But it’s nothing I haven’t heard before so it’s easy to laugh it off,” Potter said.

“I’ve seen all the movies but haven’t read any of the books, which is quite disappointing for a lot of people because they make jokes I don’t understand.”

The speedster moved to Bristol in his youth before moving again, this time abroad to Melbourne, Victoria, Australia when he was 10-years-old.
