Joe Batley will join Leicester Tigers on loan with immediate effect, the club can confirm.
The 23-year-old utility forward – who can be recalled to Bristol at any time – makes the switch to Welford Road, having made two competitive appearances this season for the Bears in the Premiership Cup.
Batley joined Bristol on a three-year contract in 2017. He has made nine first team outings, including a try-scoring appearance at Franklin’s Gardens in the 26-24 victory in March 2019.
