The Rugby paper has confirmed that Coventry’s spending spree has continued with the prized capture of former Gloucester back-three star Henry Purdy.
Purdy, who was first rumoured to join Cov by Rugby Inside Line, was snapped up by the ambitious Championship club after becoming a free agent following his release by Gloucester at the end of last season.

The 25-year-old scored 16 tries in 49 Premiership appearances in his five seasons with the Cherry & Whites but has struggled for game time since injuring his shoulder while playing on loan for Hartpury midway through the 2017/18 season.
Purdy is Coventry’s 14th signing of the summer with long-serving Harlequins flanker Luke Wallace one of the other standout arrivals.
