George Ford will end speculation he’s set to leave Welford Road and give Leicester Tigers fans some Christmas cheer in the midst of a horrendous season by signing a new improved deal.
According to the Mail Online, while talks are still ongoing, the two are reportedly close to an agreement which could see his salary rise to £600,000.

However he is not their only World Cup star who is out of contract in the summer with Jonny May, Ben Youngs, Dan Cole and Ellis Genge also close to the end of their deals.
