So far the Gloucester have announced that academy prop Alex Seville and centre Mark Atkinson have signed new contracts with the club and more are expected throughout the day.
Director of rugby David Humphreys said in his programme notes for Friday’s Champions Cup game against Exeter that the club would have news on players being retained.
umphreys said: “In terms of our playing squad for next season, planning is well underway and we’ll be making some announcements regarding contract extensions over the next couple of weeks.
“With so much change to our playing squad in recent seasons, the key this year has been continuity and retaining the majority of our current players has been the priority.
“Exeter have done this very well over the last few seasons and the stability within their playing squad has played a big part in their success.”
