Transfer News: Gloucester Rugby lock Jeremy Thrush confirms next destination

Gloucester lock Jeremy Thrush has agreed to join Western Force.

The New Zealand international is coming to the end of his contract at Kingsholm and was expected to make the move to France, while he was also linked with Northampton, but he will be heading Down Under to play for the Perth-based outfit in their World Series Rugby in 2018.

Thrush will make his last Gloucester appearance in the European Challenge Cup final against Cardiff Blues on Friday night if he is selected.

The 33-year-old joined the Cherry and Whites from Hurricanes in 2015 and has made 57 appearances, scoring seven tries.

Thrush joins Australian prop Cameron Orr in making the move to Western Force from Gloucester.
