Ireland fly-half Johnny Sexton has been linked with a move to Lyon, according to reports in France.
Mini Olympique reported that the Leinster and Ireland player’s representatives met with Lyon following last month’s Champions Cup game between the two sides.
However, according to the Irish Times, Sexton has rejected advances from the Top 14 side.
The 34-year-old is contracted to Leinster and Ireland until 2021, a deal he signed in 2018. It was said that a move could come down to whom new Ireland head coach Andy Farrell chooses as his out-half.
He previously played in France with Racing between 2013 and 2015.
