Transfer News: Ma’a Nonu leaves Toulon, puts career on hold

Former All Blacks centre Ma’a Nonu has announced he is to leave Toulon and has put his rugby career on hold due to family reasons.

In a statement released by the Top 14 outfit on Tuesday, the Rugby World Cup winner who joined Toulon in 2015, was a confirmed departure

“Toulon warmly thanks Ma’a Nonu for his involvement and commitment during these three seasons and wishes him and his family the best for the future,” said Toulon on their website, with Nonu having played 77 matches during his time at the French side.
