Newcastle Falcons back-rower Mark Wilson is set to sign for Sale Sharks next season on a one-year loan, according to The Rugby Paper columnist Neil Fissler.
It had been reported yesterday by RugbyPass that it is now a two-club race between the Sharks and Harlequins to land the blindside flanker with Leicester and London Irish still interested.
However, responding to the story, Fissler revealed he had learned that Wilson will be heading to the AJ Bell Stadium and in fact the deal has already been done.

Wilson was recently announced in both of Eddie Jones’ two initial training camps for the Rugby World Cup and is odds-on to be in the squad in September.
