Transfer News: Nine players to leave Exeter Chiefs

Beaten Gallagher Premiership finalist Exeter Chiefs have confirmed nine players will be leaving the club this summer.

Leaving the Devon side are second row Ollie Atkins, who is heading to France to play in the second tier competition for Rouen.

Also on the way out are Santiago Cordero, Paul Davis, James Freeman, Tom Lawday, Moray Low, Jack Owlett, Toby Salmon and Harry Strong.

Winger/full-back Cordero will join French Top 14 side Bordeaux Begles while Salmon is set to link up with Newcastle Falcons. 

Hooker Davis will join Ealing Trailfinders in the Championship while just down the road number eight Lawday will link up with Premiership side Harlequins. Prop Owlett has signed for Wasps.
