Former England number eight and Exeter fan favourite Thomas Waldrom is set to depart the Premiership at the end of the season when his contract expires.
The Rugby paper has reported that the 34-year-old is ready to move home after appearing to rule out a contract extension at Sandy Park.
Waldrom, commonly knock as Thomas the Tank, joined the Chiefs from Leicester in 2014 after spending four seasons at Welford Road and winning three Premiership titles.
The back-rower, who has scored 50 tries for the Chiefs, was the Premierships leading scorer in his first two seasons at Sandy Park and will be difficult to replace.
The Tank engine has secured himself legendary status during his time in England!
