Gloucester Rugby has reportedly identified a possible replacement for Danny Cipriani if the fly-half was to leave Kingsholm.
The Cherry and Whites are keen to sign another number 10 if Cipriani, whose contract expires at the end of the 2019/20 season, doesn’t sign a new contract.
Looking for a similar off the cuff player has led them to Ospreys number 10 and former world young player of the year Sam Davies, who is out of contract with the Swansea-based side in the summer.
Harlequins, Leicester Tigers and Stade Francais are also monitoring Davies situation according to The Rugby Paper.
