Transfer Rumours: Gloucester’s Danny Cipriani is receiving interest from elsewhere

Gloucester fly-half Danny Cipriani is reportedly attracting interest from clubs in France after being left out of England’s Six Nations squad.

He moved to Kingsholm from Wasps last summer, turning down lucrative offers from overseas after earning an England recall for the summer tour to South Africa.

Cipriani’s current contract runs out at the end of the 2019-20 season but he is already in talks with Gloucester about extending that deal.

However, according to the Mail, big-spending French giants Clermont and Toulon are keeping tabs on Cipriani’s situation and could move to sign him if he misses out on the World Cup this year.
