Marcus Smith could be set for a sensational exit from Harlequins in a shock move, according to rugby transfer specialist Neil Fissler.
The 19-year-old recently signed a long-term deal with Quins, worth a reported £230,000-a-season that runs until 2022.
But Fissler, who has uncovered a number of big moves down the years, is suggesting that he had a break clause put in his newest contract.
The highly-rated number 10 is now reportedly, if he chooses, able to speak to other clubs if there is a change in coach at the Stoop, and with Paul Gustard set to take over in the coming weeks, Smith may look to make his exit.
Marcus Smith could exercise a clause that allows him to leave Harlequins following their change of coach. Believe that Bath and Sale are interested.

Fissler says Bath and Sale sharks are interested, should Smith exercise his clause to leave the Stoop.
