According to La Montagne, John Hardie (1.88 m, 103 kg) will strengthen the ranks at Clermont for the forthcoming season.
The Scottish international (30 years, 16 caps) is expected this Tuesday in Auvergne.
Before confirming this signing, the Clermont team wants to check the condition of the back of the player of New Zealand origin, operated in June and still convalescent.
Hardie will continue its rehabilitation in Clermont facilities during the next two weeks.
If the results are conclusive,the club will then commit to the Auvergne club.
