Kyle Eastmond has reportedly rejected the opportunity to move across the English Channel to Toulouse, opening the door for Sale Sharks.
The Rugby Paper has revealed today that the Wasps centre, who is out of contract in the summer, is keen to remain in England.
The centre, who has six England caps, became a target for Toulouse after it was confirmed Gael Fickou would be leaving for Racing 92.
A natural footballer and distributing centre, Eastmond has dazzling feet and an explosive running game, with an ability to unlock defences while playing flat to the gain-line.

Wasps signed the cross-code international from Bath in 2016 but due to injuries he’s only made 21 appearances and was heavily linked with a return to Rugby League last summer.
Eastmond has also long been linked with a move to Sale Sharks and it’s believed that Steve Diamond is now keen to talk to the 27-year-old about a move to the AJ Bell Stadium.
